A native of Willmar, Minnesota, Aaron Jacobson came to Rush Creek from Desert Mountain Gold Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. A Class A member of the Professional Golfers Association of America since January 2000, Aaron has successfully taught the game of golf to players of all ages and ability levels.
In 1990, Aaron won the Minnesota State AA High School Golf Championship. He then went on to play college golf for Gustavus Adolphus and finished his schooling in the Professional Golf Management program at New Mexico State University.
During 1996-1997, Aaron was a five-time winner on the Bold Stroke Tour in western Texas and New Mexico. He played on the Hooters and Dakota tour from 2000-2001, and in various state opens across the country. In 2002, he won the Lansdow Shoot-Out in Durango, Colorado.
As a teaching professional, Aaron taught for the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi from 1997-2000. He gave private instruction and participated in golf schools, clinics and junior programs. In 2001, he began teaching golf schools and clinics with Jim Flick and the professional teaching staff of Desert Mountain Golf Club. |
